Bodywork and Massage

I draw from a deep and diverse well of experience that provides me with information on how to approach each person, each session, providing attention that is unique and deeply healing. I am a Reiki master and teacher, and I use my intuitive sense for healing touch, working with the energetic field of a person's body as well as the physical tissues. I frequently incorporate beautiful Himalayan singing bowls and specific tuning forks in sessions. These vibrational tools affect both the physical and energetic fields, helping muscles to release and balancing the energetic body.
As a bodyworker, I am known for my ability to hone in on specific problem areas with accuracy and a full toolbox of ideas on how to address them. I have training in many different styles of massage, including receiving my Advanced Certification in Orthopedic Assessment and Treatment, studying Thai Yoga Massage, Deep Tissue, and Swedish relaxation. All of these styles blend to create my unique signature.

Most sessions integrate several different elements drawn from my experience and training . A session may include massage for neck and shoulders, interspersed with tuning fork application, maybe some time with a singing bowl, and finish with Reiki. Perhaps the entire session is Reiki and sound healing, and other times the session just calls for specific massage treatment work.
After nearly 2 decades in practice, I am very happy to be working more with the energetic components of physical and emotional health with Reiki, and now with vibrational tools like tuning forks and singing bowls. This type of energy work adds a depth to healing that many of my clients find extremely valuable in healing the parts of themselves that hands alone can't reach.
A lifetime study of human behavior, relationship dynamics, and a deep spiritual practice help me to connect with a wide variety of people, making each session comfortable and nurturing as well as therapeutically beneficial.

Testimonials

"I have been going to LMP for 15 years - and have been treated by 6 or more. Liz is the best - above all others - She is fantastic at deep tissue massage, and improving flexibility. She knows how to work out the pains and muscular injuries from "weekend" DIY episodes. She has very reasonable rates, and is very flexible scheduling. Having suffered from Fibromyalgia for all these years, I am on a routine schedule of sessions which has helped my quality of life tremedously. A very pleasant person, highly experienced LMP - There is none Better!" - Paul P., Burlington WA
"I've required regular massage for the past 40 years, so I recognize a skilled, therapeutic massage when I feel it. Liz is honestly one of the best I've encountered. Her knowledge of anatomy, and her sensitive ability to sus out the source of a muscular problem, ensures that I get a unique and focused experience each time and I can feel the effects for days. There are many massage therapists nearer me, I drive 30 minutes and pay a bridge toll to visit Liz, but it's certainly worth it and I will continue seeing her. I highly recommend Liz Zebold." - Stacey O., Tacoma, WA
